Does evaporative cooling work in any weather?
It cools most strongly in dry, hot air — exactly when summer days become uncomfortable. In very humid conditions (e.g. after thunderstorms) the cooling effect decreases; the unit then keeps working as a powerful, pleasant fan.
Does a window need to be open?
A tilted window or an open door is enough. Evaporative cooling lives on air exchange — unlike an AC, which needs sealed rooms. That's why it also works in workshops with open gates.
How much water do the units use?
Depending on model and setting: at full cooling the RTF-20Y uses up to 45 litres per hour from its 300-litre tank — more than 8 hours of continuous operation. The compact KAD-50P gets by on about 6.5 litres per hour (45-litre tank) and sounds a buzzer before its tank runs dry.
How much maintenance is required?
Rinse the tank, replace the cooling pad occasionally — that's all. We keep pads and all wear parts in stock, and no tools are needed.
Do you deliver outside Austria?
Yes. We deliver to the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Other delivery countries are only possible by explicit prior agreement — just send us a short enquiry.
